One Hundred Years, Honoring Our Traditions, Celebrating Our Future

Although they stood on opposite sides of the political fence, Senators Henry Gassaway Davis and Stephen Benton Elkins shared a vision for West Virginia and Randolph County. That vision needed to be supported
and fulfilled by education. Out of that vision was born the city of Elkins and Davis & Elkins College. The year 2004 marks the centennial of Davis & Elkins College. To commemorate this benchmark, Davis & Elkins College and WDG Publishing published a unique limited-edition hardcover pictorial history book.
